Danfoss: From Hydraulics to Electrification – Leading Sustainable Vehicles
views
Danfoss has produced electrical frequency converters for over 50 years and is one of the largest electronic drives manufacturers in the world today. Danfoss intends to use this position to become much stronger in the green transformation to electrification by addressing a broad spectrum of products to power battery driven vehicles and vessels with inverters and motors.
About the talk:
Danfoss is already the world's leading manufacturer of hydraulics for off-highway vehicles within construction and agriculture machinery and like the automotive sector they must become electrical over the next decade to eliminate the diesel emissions. In addition, Danfoss is well underway with inverter solutions for all major car manufacturers with cars on the road today.
With the acquisition of Semikron Danfoss is one of the very few manufacturers to be able to tailor make Silicon Carbide power modules for inverters to control all kind of vehicles and vessels, and Jørgen Mads Clausen will let us in on what this means for the future of green transformation.
